You will be utilising prescribed manual handling techniques and equipment as required for the product being handled. You will ensure product is handled in a safe and efficient method to preserve quality and support safe loading and delivery. Pick and assemble products to relevant performance standard using prescribed processes Returns processing and inventory counting as required Operating IT-systems and processing paperwork as required Use manual handling techniques and equipment as trained Adhere to all safety guidelines and rules as prescribed and be an advocate of work place safety Operating of Mechanical Handling Equipment for which training has been received Operating IT-systems and processing paperwork as required Working within a physically demanding environment Ensure safe handling of product to preserve quality of the product Work with the site teams to identify ways of improving work methods and efficiencies as part of working groups or forums Promote the use of ACT, Active Leadership and assist in development of coaching methods which compliment CI delivery. Great communication skills, able to understand and follow instructions Ability to operate JDA's warehouse management system Good observation skills, an eye for detail Show respect and be respected by peers and managers Comfortable working as part of a team or using own initiative Minimum of 6 months on-the-job experience across warehousing / transport desirable Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations Meets or exceeds productivity and other KPI’s with a clean disciplinary record. The role holder must be dynamic and energetic. Warehouse colleagues will be contracted to work annualised hours on any 5 out of 7 shift pattern.
