Our support workers undertake an extremely important role helping the people they support, typically who are affected by autism and learning disability, to feel in control of their lives. Positive, warm-hearted Support Workers are required. You must have good interpersonal skills and have a confident nature. Responsibilities will include helping people with daily tasks such as shopping and preparing meals and supporting the person to access community based services.You may be required to provide personal care, such as assisting with bathing. You will be required to work shifts including some sleep ins and weekends. No previous experience is required as paid training is provided. The role is both challenging and rewarding and allows for a lot of creativity and fun. Pay starts from £9.20 plus holiday pay and pension scheme. All staff will be required to undertake Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and full referencing.
