3.5t multidrop driver in food industry, with future training to become 7.5t driver within 2 years. EFG Foodservice is a family run company based in Hackney, East London, delivering a variety of ambient, chilled and frozen goods to customers around London, Hertfordshire and Essex. We are looking for a Delivery Driver with a licence to drive 3.5t vehicles to join our team. The role involves heavy lifting, and needs a good standard of English to deal with invoices. You may also be collecting cash and cheques from customers. Our drivers are the face of the company to many customers and so a positive and helpful attitude is a necessity. Reliability and accuracy are also key. Previous experience with multi-drop deliveries and a good knowledge of London roads would also be required. The hours are 5.30am to 2.15pm, Monday to Friday. You will receive 22 days annual leave per year, plus 8 Bank Holidays. The annual salary is £22,800. You will be put through paid for training within 2 years to become a 7.5t driver, and will then go up to the salary of £31,200, and would be contracted to stay for a period of 3 years at that point. There is free on-site parking and training will be provided on basic food safety procedures.
