On Friday 26th July, the official opening of Firs Farm Community Hub took place.
We spent a lovely afternoon over at Firs Farm Community Hub celebrating their official opening and a ribbon cutting with Melvin Odoom.
Having followed the plans over the years for both the wetlands and the hub it was lovely to see it in action and meet the inspiring team behind it.
A lot of work has gone into creating this beautiful space for the community. There’s Leon’s Cafe, stocked with delicious food and drink and some amazing space to hire for parties, clubs and classes, meetings and more. They are also proud to have installed a Changing Place Toilet, ensuring those who need those facilities are able to access them.
