Not all heroes wear capes! 5 After another visit from a plumber sent via our insurance to say they can not touch our shower, I called Associated Response who within TEN MINUTES were round my house! (quicker than deliveroo!) Hugh was amazing, he found the problem straight away, that has been ongoing saga for us for one month with our insurance who could not find the problem! He found a leak in our adjustment gromit on hot water shower mixer valve and fixed it .....the leak has stopped! Hugh was friendly, helpful, gave great advise. Jenny was so quick and proficient through her communication with me. If I could give more than a five star review, I would. Now I know who to call for any Plumbing, Heating or Electrical issues in my home! Number stored and highly recommend the team and their services. THANK YOU!!!!

Emergency call out 5 As you can see from all the other reviews Associated Response provide a top class service and I would thoroughly recommend them. After giving them an emergency call this morning (Sunday) they made a speedy arrival to resolve the issue my elderly aunt had with her boiler. It's freezing and I was worried she would have to wait until Monday at the earliest. I can't thank them enough for helping her so swiftly. Thanks for your help today Hugh. On a separate note I've had two other interactions with them in the last few years and both have been 10/10 fantastic. Excellent service.

Emergency Call Out 5 After being let down by our boiler company and being left without hot water and central heating, Hugh came to our rescue. Hugh came within 30 minutes of our call, assessed what the issue was in minutes and returned with the part that was required within the hour. Our issue was resolved quickly and effortlessly due to Hugh's excellent knowledge and professionalism. While it’s not something I needed they have an amazing deal for new boilers that in the right circumstances would not cost and would be fully funded , so if it’s something you need and meet the requirements, it’s gotta be worth a phone call .

Great service 5 I’ve used Associated Response a couple of times recently, after seeing them advertised on LYDS. Both times Hugh and the team have provided great service - the first time to provide a power flush for the heating system and fixing a couple of other issues. The second time Hugh was able to come out on the Sunday before Xmas to fix a condenser pipe that had frozen, arriving within an hour of our call. Will certainly use them again in the future and very happy to recommend to others.

Call Out 5 A friend recommended LYDS for finding good tradesmen and so when my boiler broke down, I found Associated Response. Whilst they were busy the owner, Hugh, managed to come around within a couple of hours. Hugh diagnosed the problem straight away, ordered the necessary parts and arrange for his team to return the next day and make the repair. Hugh and his team are knowledgeable and friendly and did a great job.

Fantastic service, immediate results 5 We cam back from holiday on a Sunday night to discover our boiler was not working- such a chilly terror on Halloween night! I called/ texted 3 or 4 plumbers/ plumbing companies at 9 pm to request an emergency call out first thing Monday. While everyone I found on the LYDS directory was really helpful in providing immediate advice, Hugh confirmed an appointment for 9 am, showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within the hour! Such a nice guy, and so forthcoming with great advice. This is who you need in any plumbing situation! Thank you for sorting us on such short notice.

Boiler and services repair 5 Hugh and Associated Response were recommended to me by another central heating professional as well as on LYD. Harry came today and replaced our diverter valve and made some other adjustments to get our boiler (which hadn't worked properly for yonks) and it's tasks all fully operational again. We found Harry extremely friendly, knowledgeable and informative. The price for the work was also very reasonable and we will be using this company again. Leaking shower 5 Hugh and his team are very rapid at responding!! Had an urgent leak last night at 5pm and despite being busy, Hugh came out before 6pm and gave advice. He then had one of his plumbers come this morning to stop leak and offer solutions. This is the 3rd time I have used this company for these issues, and every time I have been impressed with Hugh and his team. Will use again for sure.

5 Boiler stopped working on Friday night, no luck with 3 local plumbers. All messages went to voicemail. Got through to one who couldn't come until Tuesday but recommended Hugh at Associated Response. Gave him a call Saturday morning and was able to come over within the hour. Very impressed, he took his shoes off without me asking! Assessed the problem within 2 minutes. Fan in the boiler wasn't turning. He tried to use his magic oil to get it running to buy me time to get a replacement online. As buying from a plumbers dealer would be more expensive. Unfortunately the fan had completely seized up so he was unable to get it started. I decided to get Hugh back the same day to replace the fan unit. He came exactly when he said he would. Very professional and efficient worker. Very tidy, didn't leave a mess. Happy to give him a five star rating. His rates are very competitive. Use him with confidence, highly recommended.

Highly recommended for emergency or routine work! 5 We have used Hugh and his team at Associated Response on two occasions now.Last Christmas (2017), we had a major boiler failure and Hugh came out on a weekend, just days before our family were due to arrive. He and his team worked hard to get our boiler replaced (it definitely needed it) and put a great new Intergas unit in, for a fair price.The system was power flushed, valves were changed, and we were warm and toasty for the arrival of our rellies.More recently I was recovering from a small op when one of our showers refused to turn off (without a massive struggle). A job I’d been putting off had become somewhat urgent. Phil from Associated Response came quickly and replaced both shower cartridges as the other was clearly going the same way.All the guys do good work, are professional, friendly, and fast!

Boiler fault/leak 5 Had a fault on my Veissman boiler and saw Hugh’s name pop up a few times on a local website. House was freezing and it’s so cold out so knew getting a plumber in at short notice might be difficult. Within an hour of me calling Hugh had been in, found the problem and resolved the issue. Friendly, reliable and good value for money I will definitely use Associated response again and highly recommend to anyone.

Elderly parents' boiler fault 5 I needed someone reliable to look and fix my elderly parents boiler, Hugh and his team ticked all the boxes. Problem found very quickly, as my parents hadn't had hot water for a couple of weeks due to an intermittent fault on their boiler, I was very impressed with Hugh's priority to get everything back up and running as quick as possible, him and his team did just that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they are reliable, experienced and were very considerate towards my parents, they talked through everything before they did any repairs, so we didn't have any surprises, top service!. Boiler installation 5 Just wanted to update you after my post last week regarding horrendous situation with my mum having boiler breakdown due to the rogue trader plumber previously installing it who turned out to be same guy who ripped her off by over a grand for a blocked drain. Thanks to the speedy and very helpful, friendly service of Hugh Doyle and all his team at Associated Response in Enfield, my mum had heating and hot water back in her property on Friday. Hugh made sure he jumped on to my mum's job as a matter of urgency, even though she lives in a different area, having seen the disaster that was my poor mum's boiler (corrosive product and water having leaked over all the internal parts of it over two years, caused by the flue being incorrectly fitted, a 'rookie' mistake as Hugh told me) and advised us that our best option could only be a new boiler. But with sympathy for my mother's plight he gave us discerning advice on what sort we could have, was so kind in dealing with my mum, telling her not to feel bad that this had happened, that in a way she hadn't been 'done' really that these things can sometimes go wrong, and all in all being a good egg!! From both his brother whom I spoke to first and also David in his office, helping mum with the payment terms and difficulties she might face paying this big lump sum out in one go, they were marvellous and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Fitting new boiler 5 I needed a new boiler fitting for a flat I've just bought and was extremely pleased with Hugh and his team. Hugh came and assessed what work needed to be done the same day I contacted them and he managed to fit me in so the work could begin soon after. In fact the work took longer than expected (it was a big operation removing the ancient old boiler, digging up a concrete floor, relaying pipes and fitting the new boiler in a different location) but his team worked hard to get the job done. I'm extremely grateful to Hugh and his team and will be using them again and recommending them to others.

New Boiler installation 5 Absolutely fantastic service. Hugh came round within half an hour of my phone call, to quote for a new boiler as needed it newly situated for installation of a new kitchen. Quotes for labour and boiler (3 choices) sent the same day, and following a follow up phone call from AR saying they could undertake the work the following day and would discount labour by 10%. Work was carried out today an excellent job, including chasing pipes into the wall and following my instructions on measurements without any problems. We are delighted with the end result, and thank AR for their superb job. No quibbles over the end bill either. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. 5*

Fabulous service from Associated Response 5 Excellent service. From putting my distress call on LYDS (broken boiler and 17 month old twins and all the washing, washing up and bathing that goes with them!) to having a fully working boiler again took only 4 hours. Even though it was a Saturday they had someone available who came in the time slot given and repaired our very old boiler. The charge was exactly as quoted and really reasonable and there was no bumping the price up, just fixed it and that was that,. Highly recommend them!

4 Boiler broke Christmas Eve and AR were the only company who answered my urgent plea and were round within half an hour. After a fair few hours labour they managed to get a part for my old but well built boiler and it worked. Also arranged for a service a few days later, and very reasonably priced. Just had another desperate issue which they are working on but I've no doubt they will work their magic this time too!!!! It's good to know I can get a reliable service and someone I can trust. I have recommended AR to a few friends and they've had no complaints either!!!!

Faulty Flu 5 A later than expected review, but better late than never!My Boiler broke down so as I had a contract with one of the big named Gas companies, I called them out. The Boiler was repaired which was great. However they cut off my Gas supply as the Flue was faulty - and this is one of the jobs they do not do! Just what you need on the morning of the last day of term, before the Children break up for Christmas! Panic stricken at the thought of no hot water or heating, I logged onto 'Love your doorstep' which led me to 'Associated Response'. Hugh and his boys were definitly my Knights in shining Armour that day, and had the job done within an hour and my Gas supply restored.I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would certainly call on them again. Came out in the evening at very short notice, made good, sorted the repair next day, explained the fault clearly, gave good tips for maintenance, and excellent value for money. boiler issues 5 Absolutely brilliant service from Associated Response today. Our boiler stopped working so I called around all my usual plumbers and no one was available to come out at short notice on a Saturday afternoon. I called Associated Response and they were so helpful. Talked us through advice on the phone which got the boiler going again, and talked us through what the problems might be so they can be sorted out at a later time. I know who I'll be using from now on. Thanks so much.

Piece Of Mind 5 We have been ripped off by plummers a couple of times in the past and since then I go into a panic at the thought of getting one in. I have got to say that this is now one thing less that I have to worry about since Hugh and his team were recomended to us.They took care of some work for us last summer and recently installed a new boiler which is running a treat. They care about doing the best they can for the punter which is a rare thing these days. Professional,reasonable, honest and polite are a few words which come to mind. I totally recommend them.

Unbeatable service with a personal touch 5 Hugh and his team are a breath of fresh air. Friendliness and enthusiasm come as standard, they work quickly but they work well. Their prices are incredibly competitive and their attitude to the job is nothing short of stellar. They're also very well connected with the various other trades - Hugh has previously put me in touch with a roofer and an electrician whose standards of service have also been excellent. So glad we found Associated Response when we moved to the area - when it comes to employing tradesmen, it's all about trust and peace of mind and Hugh and his team have always instilled both in me. New Boiler Fitted 5 Hugh and his team are fantastic. After various quotes from other plumbers, Hugg found us the easiest and simplest solution for a new combi boiler. Plus put us in touch with a fabulous carpenter who basically made good our fitted kitchen as soon as boiler was fitted. His team arrived on dot on 9, worked solidly, tidied up after themselves both days and aside from a new boiler it's as if they were never here. I cannot recommend them enough.

Quick Response when you need it most! 5 Hugh was extremely knowledgable and presentable. A joy to do business with. He and his team installed my brilliantly efficient boiler with minimum fuss. He also followed up the installation with a phone call after a week, which was a lovely personal touch. Also came within an hour on a Sunday morning to deal with a minor pressure fault. Fantastic service. Have cancelled my extortionate British Gas HomeCare with no regrets.
