I am a fully qualified Acupuncturist and Reiki Master and Teacher with many years experience. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the UK Reiki Federation and listed in the NHS Directory of Complementary & Alternative Practitioners.

My aim is to help you, whatever your condition or symptoms. I am confident that in the majority of cases, I will succeed. However, should I feel that another therapy would be more suited to you, I would be able to refer you to one of my colleague therapists at the Keats practice. I use a powerful combination of Acupuncture and Reiki to dramatically increase the effect of the treatment.

Patients will often report a feeling of deep relaxation at the end of a session which makes the treatments highly effective in stress or anxiety induced conditions.

Although I have a great deal of experience in treating many different conditions, I am passionate about Women’s Health, particularly fertility issues. For instance Acupuncture and Reiki can dramatically increase the chances of successful IVF treatment.

How does Acupuncture work?

If you have been under a lot of stress over a long period of time, followed the wrong diet for too long, or experienced a trauma, your body’s equilibrium will be upset. The aim of Acupuncture is to restore your body’s inner balance in order to increase your well being.

How? Very fine needles are inserted in specific trigger points along the Acupuncture meridians. These needles will stimulate your body’s healing response. It does not hurt although the manifestation of this release could be experienced by a slight tingling, a warm feeling or a dull ache.

What about Reiki?

Reiki is Japanese for “Universal Life Energy”.

It is a technique that promotes healing and also reduces stress and induces relaxation. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us.

Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit. The Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit to channel the “life energy” from the universe to the patient.

The Reiki energy flows to the areas of need, supercharging the body’s natural healing mechanism. Reiki also produces other beneficial effects that include pain relief and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.

Acupuncture and Reiki Treatment 5 I had an amazing experience when I had a combined acupuncture and reiki treatment with Carole, and I will most certainly be booking in for regular sessions. Carole is extremely professional, understanding and easy to talk to, I think I shared my life story but Carole was great and new exactly how to help me. I felt the affects instantly and feel so much lighter than I did before. My energy is flowing with ease so much more now and I cant wait for my next treatment. Thank you Carole 😊

Great relaxation 5 Carole is fabulous. Very nice & very easy to talk to. I loved my online relaxation session last week. I felt so nice afterwards, I was very relaxed. It was a great feeling. Acupuncture and immune system 5 • I visited Carole mainly due to 2 reasons: To boost my immune system (I was always ill!) and for stress relief. Carole uses an approach that takes into account the whole body and mind and also looks at lifestyle and how that might be leading to symptoms. I found Carole to be friendly and professional. It’s very clear that she will do everything in her power to help you! I felt a little unsure about going down the path of alternative therapies, but the results speak for themselves. I haven’t been ill since beginning my course with Carole and all the symptoms that go hand in hand with stress are noticeably less and far more manageable. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Amazing Reiki 5 Having suffered a nasty burn which was taking a long time to heal, I approached Carole for Reiki treatment. Although I was fairly ignorant and slightly skeptical about the process, I am delighted with the results. Carole explained how the treatment works and, as she predicted, I felt a slight tingling sensation in my hand as the Reiki was carried out. The pain relief was almost instant and the following day the burn had clearly begun to heal. A week later the skin is so much better, despite my doctor’s prediction of considerable scarring. I am delighted and would certainly recommend Carole to anyone!

healing hands 5 I was diagnosed 7 years ago with metatarsalga- " trauma of the ball of the foot" it comes and goes- mainly it hurts the more I exercise. The doctor said that there was nothing he could do. i generally just put up with it but I have been doing bootcamp religiously every weekday since november and my symptons were just getting worse. For two weeks I have been in constant pain so I went to see carole- She painlessly inserted 5 needles in my foot and then stood for an hour with her healing hands over my foot. it was a relaxing experience. From the second I stood up in her studio I have experienced no pain!!! totally amazing. i would recomend it to everyone. carole is such a lovely gentle person too, so glad I went to see her.

Amazing experience! 5 I had thought about trying acupuncture a few times but wasnt really sure if I believed the hype or whether it would be something that would work for me! How wrong could I have been!Carole is amazing!! She is a lovely lady with a wonderful way about her that makes you feel relaxed and at ease. I first went to see Carole in May 2012 as she was giving LYDS members a trial rate. I had a very sore foot which had been causing me problems for several months; to the point where I was finding it hard to walk. I went to the GP and they said that I may have to have injections in my foot if it did not get better on its own!! As you can imagine I was not so hot on this idea! I decided at this point to go and see Carole and after the first session I was so pleasantly surprised. I could feel a noticeable difference in my foot the very next day. I have had a few more sessions since then and now my foot very rarely causes me pain.I now rave about acupuncture all the time and would always recommend that people try it before they dismiss it. It worked so well for me! Carole is the best!

Relaxed, Refreshed and Relieved from Pain 5 I have just had a wonderful acupuncture and reiki session with Carole Mabboux this evening. I have struggled with lower back pain for several years and have been unable to find anything that offers any long term relief. Carole took the time to understand what my issues were and explained how a combination to acupuncture and reiki might be able to help relieve the pressure and pain I was suffering with. After my first session, I left Carole's clinic feeling refreshed and with a spring in my step. I can't wait for my next one. Thank you!!

A living Angel 5 Well what can I say? I am still speachless from the Amazing Amazing Amazing accupuncture and Reiki treatment I recently received from Carole.I have suffered for years and years with servier sciatica, I have tried everything from physio to Osteopathy and massage and nothing has ever made any difference at all. I came to the conclusion that I will Never get better and itll be something I will have to live with it.One day after a personal training session I was in so much pain with my back, my personal trainer suggested I try accupuncture with Carole, so as a last resort I reluctantly made an appointment and went, Id convinced myself that it wouldnt work, nothing would ever work.HOW WRONG WAS I??? The treatment was comfortable, totally relaxing and my back felt instantly better!! Carole is a miracle worker, my sciatica has vanished and I am a total convert to Accupuncture and I am forever grateful to Carole for fixing me!!!
