The Wiz 5 Absolutely loved the Centre stage production of The Wiz last night at The Millfield theatre. From beginning to end it was brilliant. It could have sat comfortably and even stood out in the west end. Well done to everybody , Thank you for top class entertainment!

Performing School of Arts 5 I couldn't recommend Centre Stage more!!! My three children have been going there for the last 3 yrs and it just feels like family... they have grown in confidence and we have never looked back!!! Carole O'Shea is just a wonderful warm lady who always wears a smile for everyone and anyone ... All the teachers there are dedicated and enthusiastic, giving everyone a chance to shine ...there are no favorites! Also there are so many opportunities for the children who take it a bit more seriously and really want to get involved, from cabaret evenings, pantomines, musicals, festival performances, annual CS Oscars, talent agencies, etc. It a pleasure to get involved backstage and I wish I had had a CS when I was growing up... I would definitely highly recommend again, again and again!!! It is inspiring to watch children flourish and to see how my children friend's older siblings have been happy going all those years and how they have found their own potential whatever it may be!

CS 5 Some drama classes, in our experience, have an air of rivalry & elitism, where children clamber over one another to get attention and praise, pushed on by overbearing teachers & parents.Centre Stage is not that school. From the moment our daughters started their trial class, they were clearly hooked – and, for reference, CS is the ONLY thing our eldest has ever really stuck with!It is very hard to pinpoint what the secret is. Maybe it is the endless enthusiasm of the staff? Possibly the fact that ALL the children, not just the more “obvious choices” are actively encouraged to reach their potential, showcasing their ability amid a supportive environment? Potentially, the lovely nature of the parents at the many events that are so tirelessly arranged – from singing Cabarets, full scale musicals, to the annual Centre Stage Oscars – contribute to the uniquely nurturing and supportive approach that all the students seem to have?Ultimately, we lead by example, and Carole O’Shea (principal) is an overtly warm, loving lady who treats children (and parents) with courtesy & respect. As stated, my daughters have gone from strength to strength since they commenced classes. They sing better. They act better. They dance better. They are so happy to go every Saturday & hone their skills at this wonderful performing arts school. Bravo Centre Stage. You’ve nailed it.

Very Impressed! 5 I went to have a look round the Centre Stage performing arts school. I was so impressed!!! Such a professional school but yet so relaxed. The kids are extremely talented and it seems that they are there from a young age through to adults. Carole O'Shea who runs the school is such a lovely lady and is fully involved and very proud. Do contact Carole if you considering a performing arts school for your kids.
