5 I worked with Carly on a large communications job in 2015 to photograph Forty Hall Estate, following major restoration works to both the Grade I Listed building and Grade II Listed landscape. The results are, quite simply, stunning and the photographs have encouraged people to engage with the place in new ways. Carly has a natural aptitude for photography; many people have commented that they did not realise we had a photographer onsite at our events. That is the sign of a great event photographer; one who manages to capture the stories naturally. I thoroughly recommend working with her!

Highly recommended Carly Michael! 5 We were so glad to have Carly as our wedding photographer in November 2012. We were blessed with beautiful weather and Carly captured it all perfectly; superb photographs that tell the story of a very special day; from guests mingling and chatting outside, to the bride arriving; the ceremony, the reception... Carly was exactly what we wanted and got shots of everything we wanted. She did it all with a great sense of fun and managed to get the group shots nailed (the phrase 'herding cats' comes to mind but Carly did it brilliantly and made everyone feel at ease). Really creative shots, she didn't miss a thing. I would recommend her to anyone at the drop of a groom's hat; we especially liked the shots she got when we were unaware she was even taking them; she's so unobtrusive but knew exactly the right time to capture a moment. And a lovely person too!

My wedding 5 Carly Michael was our wedding photographer back in December 2010, and we couldn't have been happier with her work.As you can imagine, the day started off fairly chaotic, but Carly had everybody organised and managed to capture some beautiful moments before the wedding. Having Carly in the room while I was getting ready wasn't awkward at all, she was so friendly, she put everyone at ease.Carly's shots of the groom and ushers when they first arrived at the venue were very creative, lots of different and fun poses that were a joy to see in print after the wedding.Carly's photography is both stylish and artistic; she expertly captured the magic and moments of our special day, with a great mixture of both formal and more informal photos of our guests.

Highly recommended :) 5 Carly did the photography for our Wedding in June 2011, we didn't go for the traditional 'Wedding Venue' (we got married on a beach in Devon) and looking for a photographer who would capture our unconventional day was proving hard! Carly was recommended to us by a photographer friend and she was exactly what we were looking for! The photo's that were taken were mostly vivid action shots of our nearest and dearest which was the perfect way to tell the story of our day. Far from being the usual stuffy photographer type, all our friends loved her and didn't feel uncomfortable posing for a few snaps when she asked. She blended into the day without us feeling like we had a camera stuck in our faces every two minutes and the end result was just PERFECT!! We have already recommended her to our friends and family, which wasn't a hard task once we showed them our Wedding Book!All in all our day was perfect but having Carly there to capture it, made even better!I would strongly recommend this lovely, vibrant, kooky photographer for any type of event.Soraia xx

5 Carly was our photographer at our central London wedding in late 2011. We didn’t have the most traditional of do’s (the after-party was in a west-end nightclub) and Carly captured the urban atmosphere of the wedding day perfectly. She managed to convey exactly how important London is to our lives and emphasised not only the 'on-the-go' personality of our wedding, but also the best parts of us on the day. Her take on things is unconventional and unique and she has left us with a set of images that are just that.We fully recommend Carly as a creative and original photographer to capture the biggest day of your life.

Fabulous Photographer 5 Carly’s style was exactly what we were looking for in our wedding photos. They have a great natural and un-posed quality that really seems to capture people’s personality. Carly was great on the day, helping us relax and feel at ease. She joined us very early for the ‘getting ready’ shots and made sure to get all the details that make the wedding so special and personal. We went out and round Soho to get some really quirky shots of the area. Everything we wanted was captured and there’s such variety in the shots that it’s hard to tell which is our favourite, we have a top 5! I recommend Carly to anyone who’s looking for photography with a more creative twist.

5 The 21st May 2011, the happiest day of our lives. Gavin and I can’t thank Carly enough for spending the day with us and capturing all the special moments.When I look through my wedding photos I feel like I am reliving the day again and that’s exactly what I wanted the photos to do. I will never forget those moments at my family home when I was full of nerves preparing for the day and later after The Church ceremony on the beach when it was just the three of us, the rest of the wedding party had gone on to the reception venue - how lucky we were to have you, so calming, talented and patient. Carly was professional, unobtrusive, friendly and inspirational just what we needed from a wedding photographer. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who, like me, wanted a fantastic long lasting reminder that captures the joyful atmosphere of their wedding day.
