Elite Electrics was established in November 2012 and was set up to fill a gap in the domestic market, which was being left short by other companies. Many people spoken to talked about tradesmen being unreliable, not returning calls, not turning up, not listening to their requirements, not finishing the job, leaving a mess, hiding extra charges etc. etc. The gap was for a tradesman whose first priority was YOU - "The Customer". A need for a professional who would complete all aspects of the installation to a high standard in FULL compliance with current requirements of Regulations and Safety and then clean up after themselves. We carry out our work in your home as though it were our own - if we wouldn't be happy with it in our home we won't be happy with it in yours. Elite Electrics has over 10 years experience of electrical installations, BS 7671: 2008 (Requirements for Electrical Installations) and customer service. We have always used high quality reliable materials in all our installations because we believe that no business can survive by fitting cheap accessories that often go wrong. The only phone calls that we receive from past customers are to ask us to carry out more work for them, never complaints. We have stayed mainly in the domestic sector of the market providing a quality personal service to homeowners. Our wealth of experience enables us to offer good sensible, honest advice to potential customers and enable us to find and locate problems and faults on domestic / small commercial wiring quickly and efficiently. We have built a reputation to be proud of and we intend to ensure that our reputation never gets damaged by continuing to maintain the high standards. Some of our competitors consider certificates to be unnecessary paperwork but with effect from 1st January 2005 it is now a Criminal Offence under the new amended Building Regulations (known as Part "P") for non-registered electrical installers to carry out certain types of Electrical Installation work in Domestic properties. The issuing of certificates by competent installers is now a mandatory requirement. The certificate has become a necessary evil due to now living in a litigation society we all have to be able to prove 100% that our work is safe and that it has been installed professional and competently. Chris Moore, owner of Elite Electrics (UK) Ltd., is C&G qualified since 2008 and a 17th Edition qualified electrician. We are an NICEIC registered Electrical Contractor and carry out EICRs. full house rewires, fuse board changes and a range of electrical services.

Great, professional & affordable electrical work 5 Dan was great, very professional and explained what he was doing to two clueless new homeowners! He did a great job with everything, the light fittings look lovely, he explained our fuse board to us as we were clueless, and he did a great job fitting the extractor fan we had bought. We also found it really easy to arrange the work with Chris, especially for our booking being just before Christmas. I'll definitely be using Elite Electrics again.

Loft electrics 5 Chris and his team recently completed the electrics for my new loft. We felt comfortable and happy with his services and team throughout the project and their attention to detail was excellent. They gave us suggestions and recommendations for tricky areas which helped as we wasn’t sure how to get around them. They left the loft clean when they finished and always left giving us an update on what had been completed. I would recommend Chris and his team for your domestic requirements

Electrician 5 Yet again LYD to the rescue. Our electrician let us down. We contacted Chris Moore and got his answering service. We left a message. Quite quickly Chris responded - fantastic. He then told us he was on holiday and unfortunately was unable to come out to us, but gave us another number to call (his dad). Rang his dad who arrived within hours and sorted things. Elite Electrics - top advice! 5 I turned to LYDs in desperation on Saturday morning at 8am (yes early!) as we discovered some faulty electrics were causing the boiler, heating and all upstairs lighting to trip. Turning the tripped switched in the fuse box back on causes further tripping. We rang Chris thinking that we would have to cancel weekend plans to sort this out with two small children in the house, and spend lots of money getting the problem fixed. Chris diagnosed the problem over the phone in about 2 minutes and guided us through how to fix it. Thanks Chris, we will definitely call you first next time - recommend Chris for professionalism and speedy response!

Super quick , super job , super price- who could ask for anything more! 5 Called Chris at about 0900 this morning about moving a string of spots from dining room to kitchen and hanging new chandalier in Dining room. Chris said about lunchtime but when I got back at 1100 his guys had already started. Job was done by Noon and looks great. Now we are looking forward to nighttime so we can use our new lights. We needed a few odd jobs sorting and so we had a discussion about the best way to price it and decided to go with their day rate. Circuit board blowing main overhead lights in kitchen 5 First time using Elite Electrics. Chris arrived 1 hour 'earlier' than he'd originally estimated, even though he was in Knightsbridge when I called! He ascertained really quickly what was tripping our electrical circuit and was very straight forward about how to fix it. Very pleasant to deal with, upfront with the cost which was reasonable. Fitting new fuse board and safety check. 5 Chris and his colleagues Bart &Warren did a fantastic job of changing the old fuse board to new RCD system and managed to resolve faulty electric supply and cabling from fuse board. Through thorough investigation the faults were identified and therefore did require to re-wire or re-cable. Very grateful for their hard and honest work.

5 Chris and his colleague did a great job today, in sorting out various jobs needed around the house. Very professional and very clean, and all done in quick time. Re-wired a timer in the kitchen, fitted a new light in the bedroom, removed old extractor fan, and installed a new one in the bathroom, and fixed the porch light. First time we have a light there since we moved in!! Great job in all at a very affordable price. Thanks Chris.

Elite Electrics - highly recommended 5 We had just moved to the area and we're really pleased to find the Lyds site and Elite Electrics.We needed our flat rewired and Chris came and quoted quickly and was very accommodating and made helpful suggestions as this was new to us.We were very pleased with the work and it was fairly priced. The team arrived on time and completed the work quickly so disruption was kept to a minimum. Considering rewiring an old flat was a very messy job they left the place really clean and tidy and care had been made to cause as little damage as possible. We would definitely recommend Elite to anyone and will use them again.

Elite Electrics 5 After some bodged diy, I put out a request for help on the Lyds page.Chris from Elite Electrics, responded promptly and we managed to arrange an appointment within two days. We needed three light fittings removing and replacing and Chris obliged. Punctual (early in fact), professional and very reasonably priced, we will be keeping Chris's number for future reference!
