Forty Hall Farm

Forty Hall Farm is an organic farm perched in the north of Enfield, in Forty Hill. It's run by Capel Manor College, a further education college that specialises in learning about the environment.

Forty Hall Farm is a mixed farm with a variety of animals, including many rare breeds. We're home to London's only organic commercial vineyard, the Forty Hall Community Vineyard, which is run almost entirely by volunteers and is expecting its first wine in the summer of 2014.

The Farm is also home to a thriving community orchard, the Forty Hall Farm Orchard. Volunteers meet on the last Sunday of every month, to work on the orchard and plan events.

In 2013, we established a market garden on the Farm and we now supply our organic vegetables to several local shops and cafes. The market garden also supplies produce for the newly launched Enfield Veg Co. bag scheme, which delivers weekly bags of veg around Enfield. We also sell our organic, free-range meat locally, directly to consumers and - coming soon - through the Food Gatherer website.

The Farm frequently hosts community events, open days and festivals, as well as running short courses. We have lots of volunteer opportunities for those wishing to get involved in our work, and we have a popular kids' art club on a Saturday, run by Stiki Art. You can also hire our rooms and barns for events, including weddings and parties.
