What a gem! 5 Simply the best find in 2015! Great night where you have your own dinner party and lovely food cooked by Jason. Relaxing and you feel like it's gone from home. Jason could not do enough for us to ensure we all had a great night. We will be back!

Jason, Thank you for a superb meal in such a lovely setting and relaxed atmosphere - I am still salivating from Saturday night's meal and I cannot stop talking about my Birthday meal cooked by, as the Irish like to say, your good self! I had a wonderful evening and it was so lovely to meet and spend time with you. Note for future would be diners: Jason has a wealth off stories to relate and is such a charming, interesting man! The best food in Enfield 5 We have eaten and Jason's place twice. It is an amazing experience. The food is fantastic and you are able to set your own menu. It's a really personal experience eating in someone's house and being the only guests. I other thing I love is that you can bring your own wine, so if you enjoy fine wine as we do you can have the very best without paying silly prices. Can't wait for our next visit.

A wedding breakfast beyond our expectations 5 Ok, I'm not going to lie, my partner and I are very fussy eaters. I've been disappointed by many new restaurants opening up in Enfield and none stepping up to our standard.We wanted a wedding breakfast after our registry on a Monday and after a nice chat with Jason he agreed.Jason was very diligent, pays great attention to detail and was very accommodating. I couldn't reccomend New River Restaurant enough.Food: The food was on point. Flavoursome, filling and very good value for money. He made 12 very fussy people happy.Atmosphere: Jason's hosting skills are spot on, very accommodating with thought going into little touches that women notice. He is also assertive enough to control a loud crowd in a lovely manner. Great for my family :).The setting was informal and relaxed yet structured and everything ran smoothly.My partner and I had the perfect day and we can't thank Jason and his family enough for letting us into their home.We will be back and highly, highly reccomend that you do the same. Don't even hesitate to book.

New River Restaurant 5 You can't fail to have a great evening. Jason gives a lot of thought (and from time-to-time humour) to flavour, texture and colour combinations when putting the menu together, and the food tastes as good as it looks - just fab!. His enthusiasm is pretty infectious, and he and the boys are great hosts. The side shows of flamed tomatoes (planned of course!) and eclectic music all help to make a great atmosphere. Book now!

5 Spent an evening here with friends just before Christmas and we all loved it. It felt slightly weird for all of thirty seconds on arrival, turning up at a strangers house for dinner in their kitchen, but Jason is a great host and the atmosphere was very relaxed.The food was exquisite, every mouthful just delicious - certainly more than comparable to a very good "regular" restaurant (and a real delight for me as a vegetarian not to be treated as a second class diner).I have already recommended this place to others and am eager to return myself - it was a really interesting and fun evening.

New River Restaurant 5 Myself and 9 guests ate at Jason's fabulous restaurant in early October and it was truly an evening to remember for all the right reasons. From the smells that greeted us at the doorstep (we all looked like the Bisto kids), to the wonderful homemade spiced nuts and focaccia whilst we were waiting for the start of the meal and then - oh my goodness the meal itself. It just got better and better until I thought to myself, how is it possible that Jason is not a "chef". The food was delicious, sublime, mouth watering - I am running out of adjectives that do it justice.The menu was agreed before hand and it did not disappoint, far from it, it exceeded all my expectations. I cannot wait to return to this wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant.

Fabulous dining experience 5 I have visited the New River Restaurant on two occasions now, and I have to say that I thoroughly recommend it, the food was amazing and Jason is a fabulous chef and host, he made us so welcome in his home and made us all so comfortable.My friends are all still raving about it and we will all most definitely be returning soon.Don't think about booking, just do it, it's a must!Thank you Jason from me and ALL my friends we LOVED every minute of it

New River Restaurant 5 I can not recommend the NRR enough! Such a fantastic evening, amazing food, great hosting and a whole lot of dancing!! What an absolute 'find' and I can't believe its just round the corner! I would love to keep it a secret but I can't stop talking about it!! Still dreaming of the pineapple granita but I couldn't not mention the gravy or the cauliflower puree.....(the list continues)! Roll on September when we are back....dancing shoes at the ready! More than a restaurant 5 Thank you to Jason and family for a wonderful dining experience. The food was outstanding in taste and presentation & the relaxed atmosphere really encouraged us to let loose when the disc lights came out!! We shall definitely be back. I shall be recommending NNR to friends and family RxJason is really a fantastic chef and really cares about how each dish is presented and received buy his guests.

5 What Enfield was really lacking was a place serving great food in a very relaxed atmosphere. Better than a restaurant. More like private dining. Jason is an excellent host.
