Established in 2012, BLOQS is the UK’s first open-access factory and maker community. Supporting hundreds of independent makers, BLOQS provides affordable access to high-end equipment, training and workspace, across woodwork, metalworking, fashion, engineering, product design, construction and architecture.
About BLOQS Kitchen
The onsite cafe is led by the former Head Chef or Moro and Morito, Marianna Leivaditaki, serving up a daily changing menu of Mediterranean inspired dishes at the beautiful cafe and exhibition space.
About BLOQS Create
BLOQS Create offers a unique manufacturing process for bespoke projects and custom builds. From initial concept to final installation, it provides a fully tailored service that includes specialist design teams, project management, fabrication and installation.
Pooling from its multidisciplinary community of 700+ designers and makers, it has the tools, talent, and technical skills to take on any project, at any scale. It can quickly assign and manage the right team of specialists, fabricating on-site in its extensive facilities.

BLOQS Yard is a new, grassroots venue nestled along the river Lee's industrial waterways. Offering both open-air and indoor event spaces, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and bar, BLOQS Yard offers a dynamic setting for a huge array of events, from club nights, live music and comedy to private hire parties.

5 I often book out the studio for dance rehearsals. It is a really good space to work in. It's a large room, they have a sprung floor and the cafe next door does yummy healthy food for lunch. There is always something new and exciting on the menu and there's a great view over the workshop space next door. It's good to see so many creative people in one place.

5 I booked the cafe out for a joint birthday party in March and it felt very exclusive. The food was great, they bought in some locally brewed lager and let my friend play some music on the piano during the meal. It was such a good night, I can't wait for another excuse to book it again. Also, really good value for money.

5 The monthly mezze feast in the Building BloQs Cafe is incredible. There is delicious food, a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and live music. There's always room to park outside and it's great value. I'd recommend it to anyone.
