Enfield Charter Market

Enfield Market has had a Charter since 1303. Located in The Market Place in the heart of Enfield Town it is held in trust for the benefit of local people, and is enjoyed by people from across the borough and further afield. Visitors to the market can find everyday household staples alongside homemade, handmade and specialist goods, and we’re always on the look-out for innovative, quality traders to join the market. The Market House is a place where we actively encourage buskers, entertainers and we have an active programme of events. All year round an open air Food Court sells international street food daily. Apply to be a trader Markets can be a quick way to start your own business, work flexible hours and become your own boss. There is also the vibrancy of a market as a creative, adaptive retail space that might appeal to you. You will get feedback on your products and you will also soon learn if you have what all great sales people need…the gift of the gab! Enfield Market is one of the few markets in London with general and cold storage, electricity and cleaning facilities for traders. We offer great packages for new/start-up businesses, and are always on the look out for new traders. We also have events and themed market days to trade in. The Market is easy to get to by public transport and there are several conveniently located car parks nearby for those coming by car.

1Star review There's extremely rude seller on cosmetic counter. He was very unpolite some time ago, when I wanted to buy cream and read the ingredient list, becauseI have sensitive skin. He told me to buy it, not read it. Today my friend wanted to treat herself and buy some perfum. He's got testers out of the boxes, so she tried them. He told her, that testers are there, so people can see them and not to spray them :) He must be a very rich man, because he just lost £35 sale. It didn't bother him, that he was rude to his potential customer. He just spoiled her day with his attitude.

Butcher 5Star review Loved the new look market. Butcher was really helpful. Always ask him for what you want even if you don't see it out. Had a lovely bit of brisket and bacon of him. He was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Enfield market 5Star review I visited the newly revamped market yesterday and was blown away! I've not used the market for years but the new stalls really draw your eye in and once in the produce is amazing. Its like a French or Italian market and the stall holders were very friendly offering tasters of their food. I loved the food court and was taken back by the amount of people lunching there. I will be using this wonderful resource to our town regularly.
