Oak tree work 5 I have a beautiful oak tree in my front garden which is protected by a tree preservation order, issued by Enfield council. I applied for planning permission to have dead wood removed and a branch that was growing over my roof, potentially causing blocked gutters shortened. I was granted permission and I asked Thors Trees to carry out the necessary work for me. They came last Friday and carried out the work with care for my garden under the tree and with obvious respect and great knowledge and love for the tree as a living, wonderful part of our environment. I would recommend them to you for any tree work you have to carry out.

Shubs Trimmed Annually 5 I only have a small garden but it contains a lot of huge shrubs which are far too big for me to manage so I use Thor’s Trees every year to keep them in shape. They are a fabulous bunch of guys - efficient, professional, friendly and very competitively priced. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Give them a call - you won’t be disappointed!

Tree work 5 Adam and Adam from Thor's trees have just finished various tree work for me. They were here for the whole day and have done a fantastic job, I can't recommend them highly enough. They were extremely knowledgeable and professional and despite the heavy rain and finishing in the dark they had a ready smile and cheery disposition the whole time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Thor's trees and the two Adam's if you need any tree work done.

Great small business ! 5 Reading the previous reviews they reflect the service l have always received. This time l was sent picture i/d of the team leader attending my house which.in these times is very reassuring. No one is pushy or assertive just a genuine love of trees. When l insisted on one small bush going right back they explained why it wasnt good for its growth Nice . Highly recommended

Brilliant all round service 5 Thors are great to deal with starting with photo I'd prior to attending. makes clients feel secure from unwanted 'quotes'..particularly when it comes to obvious work! Guys are warm friendly efficient and very knowledgable . Nothing is too much trouble..it has been a pleasure and my shrubs look good too ..highly recommended

Fantastic service - Silver Birch re-shaping and pruning 5 We had Thor Trees around today to prune and re-shape our silver birch which was taller than our house. They were due between 09:00 and 09:30. At 09:03 I received a phone call from them to apologise for being late due to traffic, which was a very nice start. When they arrived shortly after, I found them to be very polite and professional. They immediately got to work on pruning the tree and clearly showed that they love their work and want to do a great job - they took great care to prune and trim the tree in the correct places so that it continues to grow properly and in a managed way. The end result looks excellent and will give us many more years of enjoyment of this beautiful tree. Once they had finished they cleared away all the rubbish from our garden, and our neighbours, including removing all the leaves left on the lawn after the autumn. This also extended to clearing both ours and our neighbours driveways of any mess following the clearance. I can't recommend them highly enough - very passionate about their work, very professional and knolwedgeable, and very polite and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. My father in law is a very keen gardener and very particular, and he also swears by Thors' and has used them more than once - and that is probably the highest praise I can add!

Tree removal Enfield 5 Thor's Trees did an amazing job in cutting down a 40foot plus monkey puzzle tree last week. You would never even know it was there - a great friendly knowledgeable team and a very reasonable price. Would absolutely highly recommend them.

Stump removal and overhanging trees 5 Thor's Trees came to remove 2 small tree stumps and cut back an overhanging tree from my neighbour's. The team arrived and immediately set to work and the work was soon completed. I'm was very pleased with their efficiency and the result.I would highly recommend.

Thor’s trees fab work! 5 Lawrence and his team were absolutely fantastic, from the initial quote that Lawrence provided to the actual work being completed. We needed 3 huge trees completely removing from our garden and were naturally apprehensive about such large scale work. Lawrence was reassuring and informative explaining all options in full and providing balanced advice enabling me to make the right decision. On the day of the work Lawrence himself did much of the work due to the scale and complexity of the trees and brought a team of 3 other guys to assist. All of them were super polite, professionals and respectful of our home and garden. It was amazing watching them work, especially on the tallest tree - given it was very windy it was scary to watch but they were fabulous and finished the whole job in a day. They cleaned up after themselves and did some other bits in addition to what was quoted which was also much appreciated. To top it all Lawrence created a beautiful little toadstool seat out of the remaining tree stump for my daughter to sit on which she loves!I can’t recommend them enough and happy to give more details if anyone wants to discuss. Really great local service by lovely guys - when you’re considering spending significant amounts of money on your garden you want to know it’s spent well, which it will be with Lawrence and team. 5 Lawrence and his team provided excellent customer service. It was super simple to arrange a quote and then arrange for them to trim a rather large oak tree overhanging our garden. The were incredibly tidy and polite and it was one of the easiest services I have ever booked. Their price was very competitive too. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you!

Tree pruning 5 Work done on two trees this morning. I left them to it and went out. Came back and it was so clean I wouldn't have known they'd been there. Good job done thinning out. Lawrence came and checked the work and was completely satisfied. Thoroughly recommend.

Work Experience 5 I would just like to say a massive thank you to Lawrence-thor Stephen who took the plunge and agreed to take my 15 year old son for work experience. I have to say that he had a great time, even though the work was very physical, he found it hugely enjoyable and challenging. Lawrence and his team have been great throughout the two weeks and made my son feel like one of the team and completely at ease. Excellent Serice 5 I contacted Lawrence to look at the large Eucalyptus tree in our front garden which he attended our home to inspect and offer his advice.He inspected the tree and confirmed that the tree is sadly suffering with disease and recommend that it be reduced in size at the very minimum to prevent a situation where this tree could cause damage to the house and neighbours due to lack of strength.Lawrence quoted me on-site and booked the job in shortly afterwards. He attended with his team and carried out the job with minimal fuss and left our property in a very clean and tidy manner.Overall, I have to say I was very impressed with how professional Lawrence was in arranging our tree works from start to finish.I would have no hesitation in recommending Lawrence-Thor and he will soon be carrying out further works for Central Housing Group managed properties.Many thanks to you and your team.

Fantastic service from Thor's Trees 5 After speaking to Lawrence briefly on the phone he turned up the next morning punctual and on time got to work immediately on my rotten fruit tree. Emergency tree surgery 5 Really pleased with Thor's Trees! I had to make an emergency call after finding a tree had partially come down into a neighbour's garden due to high winds. 20 mins later, Lawrence from Thor's Trees was in my garden, explaining costs, procedure and making safe. The work was concluded at 8am the following morning. Couldn't have wished for a better service, including reinstating all decorative items in my garden and even placating the less than happy neighbour. Top marks all round, would have no hesitation in recommending them. Thoroughly professional, personable and nothing was too much trouble.
