NCT Enfield Branch
The NCT (National Childbirth Trust) aims to provide support to all families from the start of pregnancy until their child’s second birthday.
The Enfield Branch of the NCT offers support, information and friendship to new parents and parents-to-be. Local parents volunteer to organise Bumps & Babies groups, Walks in the Park, Coffee Mornings and Expectant Parent meet-ups. Our aim is for new and prospective parents to know that there is somewhere to go to meet other parents, make friends and share experiences in the early days of parenting.
We run our very popular Nearly New Sales two times each year as we know the cost of kitting out your baby or toddler can run into thousands of pounds.
Money raised is used by the NCT to support parents locally and nationally. Branches provide a link between local parents and the national charity so what we hear about parents’ experiences helps NCT to determine which issues to campaign on nationally. Current campaigns focus on perinatal mental health, childcare costs and fair maternity/paternity pay.
We are always looking for people to volunteer if you can spare an hour a week, a month or would like to come to a one-off event, we would love to hear from you. You do not need to be a member of the NCT to come along to events or access support.
