Replacement of roof ridge tile 5 Storm Eunice blew off one of my ridge tiles at the front of the house. I asked around for a roofer and Billy came recommended by LYDS. He came out straight away to give me a quote and was helpful, responsive, communicative and reasonably priced. It was a small job but he got it done quickly and happy with the repair. Replacement piece of guttering 5 We had the wrong piece of guttering attached to the down pipe which kept getting blocked. Billy came out to have a look at the issue then came back a few days later to replace the piece. It was only a quick job, but Billy kept me updated on when he was able to come out and sent through the invoice for payment. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Leaky roof 5 Water was pouring out of the ceiling like a tap in one of my rooms upstairs when it rained really heavily. Chimney & Gutters 5 I contacted BGC Roofing for a quote and Billy came round and quoted a price I was happy with for capping my chimney pots and clearing my gutters. When he was on the roof he found erosion around the chimney pots where birds had nested. I expected an additional charge as some extra work was needed, but no additional charge was made. Photos of the completed chimney work showed a lovely neat job. Capping the chimney pots has been on my “to do” list for a long time, so I was so glad I found BGC Roofing. I recommend BGC and will use them again for any future roof work I may need.

Emergency roof repair 5 Use this company I recently found a large hole in my roof that had caused one of my bedroom ceilings to become damp, apparently caused by a large firework rocket hitting the tiles. It’s Christmas, who do I call to fix it at this time of year ? Cue BCG roofing services and the fantastic ‘Billy’. He turned up on time, reassured me, gave me a price on the spot and and told me he could fix it ASAP. I booked the appointment, he turned up when he said he would to carry out the repair. There were no dramas or nasty surprises (you do hear horror stories) he just carried out the repair and charged a very fair price. If I was asked to sum up the service he gave in three words, I would use ; Reliable Trustworthy Professional

guttering 5 Despite what roofers often say about no job being "too big or too small", in my experience they sometimes can't be bothered coming round to quote for small repairs. I was very pleased therefore when Billy took the trouble to come and take a look at my leaking gutter. He came across as friendly and knowledgeable and gave a reasonable quote. The work was completed a week or so later and he included another small repair at no extra cost. Given the amount of rain that has recently fallen, I think I can say with some confidence that Billy has done a grand job and I would have no hesitation in recommending and using him again.

Gutter repair 5 We called Billy because our gutters started to leak after heavy rain. We were worried about the damage this would cause to a flat roof so needed someone to come in quickly.
