It was 1977, the year punk and disco shared the airwaves, yet the food landscape was a far cry from what it is today. In December of that year, just days before Star Wars opened in cinemas across the country, La Caverna opened its doors to serve fresh, homemade pizza and Italian comfort food to North London. Over 40 years later, our aim (and traditional family recipes) remain the same.

La Caverna 5 My absolute favourite restaurant I never want to go anywhere else in Enfield. The food is all so good I can never decide what to have. A family run, authentic Italian restaurant. Wonderful

Great place for a reunion 5 Paid a return visit to La Caverna last night after many years to catch up with old school friends, had a lovely catch up alongside some delicious food. Will be back very soon, the pizza was lovely x

Simply the best pizza you'll find in North London 5 This restaurant was established in 1977 and I have been going there with my friends since it opened. I recommend the Brad Special (hot) you won't be disappointed !

Best tiramisu ever 5 Been coming here for years - since the 1970’s when it was just a takeaway. You need to book in advance for table most evenings but takeaways are always available. It goes without saying that their authentic Italian pasta and pizza is delicious but the tiramisu served in a coffee cup is the best I have ever tasted.

Wonderful Restaurant 5 A wonderful, family run restaurant, serving great Italian food. The atmosphere and staff are lovely. I cannot recommend enough.
