Bathroom fan replaced 5 I contacted Andrew this morning to enquire about replacing our bathroom fan. It was running continuously alongside the bathroom light due to a fault. Andrew arrived late afternoon, diagnosed the problem which was water ingress and replaced with a new fan. Andrew was efficient, tidy and a very pleasant man. His price was very competitive. I would recommend Andrew for any electrical work. Thank you.

Electrical Circuit & Oven Installatio 5 When our new double-oven was delivered, the supplier was unable to install because the power circuit wasn't good enough. Cue Andy, who called round on the same day I phoned him, sent me a quotation 2 days later and the work was scheduled and completed the following week - well in time for Christmas - and this despite having to wait 3 weeks for the supplier to deliver! Thanks Andy - much appreciated.

Electrician to replace damaged hob 5 Just had our broken hob replaced by Andy today - he was friendly, professional and went out of his way to explain how to set the timer on our cooker and even set it himself. He arrived well on time and took away the old hob for disposal which was really helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Andy to anyone and I will definitely use him again .

Really great service from start to finish 5 Called Andy as we are redecorating our bedroom and needed some wall sockets moved around. We previously had them on the surface of the wall, and we wanted them dug into the wall. I sent Andy a video of the work we needed doing and he was able to quote me for it straight away. When he came to do the work, he came on time and was very polite throughout. He told me what he was going to do and when he needed to switch the electricity off for a short period. He worked really hard to keep the area clean and tidy for us too. Overall, I'd definitely recommend using Andy and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

5 Andy fitted some under-cupboard kitchen lighting for us. He was helpful with initial advice, friendly, and his work was neat and tidy - we'll definitely call on him again.

Ceiling lights & replacement dimmers 5 We recently had our living room ceiling lights and dimmer switches replaced by Andy. From initial first contact he was always reliable, came to visit and helped to order the chrome dimmer switches and bulbs for the lights which I had purchased saving me another job. We are very happy with his service and would highly recommend.

Five star response 5 Fantastic response to our electrical emergency. Only a small issue but affecting our home security so needed urgent attention. Electrician arrived in the agreed timeframe, was friendly, efficient and professional. Have no hesitation in recommending and would certainly use this firm again - hopefully not in an emergency next time!

Sunday Roast ruined!! 5 Andy was great, quick reponse to my e-mail, spoke to him on the phone and by Tuesday, early evening oven was working again... I would highly recommend him to solve any electrical work.

Great service 5 We need an electrician asap to fix an old faceplate on old Openreach box as our internet was down. Once I sent Andy a picture of the faceplate he knew exactly what to do and within a day we had a new faceplate box, internet issue fixed and normal service in house was returned. Excellent customer service & customer experience, reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend Andy, very professional and an added bonus that he also worked for BT for many years! Great service from a local business.

ANDY MACMURDIE replaces our Power Shower and Kitchen taps 5 Andy MacMurdie came to our house to quote for the replacement of our power shower and we also wanted him to change the taps on our kitchen sink... [This type of shower is NOT an electric shower - it doesn't heat water it takes water from your immersion heater and has a pump inside to deliver a good flow of water] He had a thorough look at things & was very knowledgeable about what type of shower we had. He quoted a price which included his buying us a new power shower to fit and set a date to return. On the day of the job he was neat and thorough with his work - he trouble-shooted on the spot to make the new power shower specs. dovetail with the fittings of the old one he was replacing. We were very happy with his work, his attention to detail, his manner and his cleanliness on the job.. We were happy paying him his quote although we would have liked to have known the price of the shower he bought for us. We would recommend him and would be happy to have him do work at the house again
