Miss Kat’s Learning Lab, Where the magic of learning happens! Hello everyone, my name is Kat Llewellyn and I am a primary school teacher with over a decades worth of experience working in a primary school and private tutoring. I offer 1:1 sessions, group sessions (for up to 4 children) and online sessions for little learners from year 2 - year 6. I have spent many years teaching in upper KS2, so have expert skills in helping year 6 students in preparation for their SATs. My aim is to make learning fun for children so that they grow to have a love for learning and look forward to tutoring sessions. Making learning relatable for the children by combining their likes and interests to what is being taught helps them to be able to access the curriculum which is something I ensure that I include and tailor for each child when planning for our tutoring sessions. As of September 2024, I am also offering parent workshops for parents of children who might not necessarily want or need weekly tutoring sessions, but want help understanding how and what their children are learning in schools and would benefit from learning the methods that their children are familiar with using in school to be able help with homework and revision. My Learning Lab is based in Goffs Oak but can alternatively travel and teach from your home upon request. Please do not hesitate to get in touch for any further information!
