Oakwood Park Wetlands Consultation

Hot off the press news from Friends of Oakwood park! Exciting development for all who love Oakwood Park. The council are proposing to develop wetlands in Oakwood Park and are having a consultation for anyone interested on Wednesday 23rd Sept, 3 till 6pm. This is something that could really enrich the park for everyone who visits it, not to mention the benefits to wildlife, water quality and the environment (probably worth a visit to Firs Farm Wetlands to get a sense of what can be achieved). Its been a very long time since Oakwood Park has had any investment in it, hopefully this is something that as a community we can all get together to support and help develop.
