Wonder Walk

What is the Wonder Walk Following our first Wonder Walk last year to celebrate our 50th anniversary, we're so excited to bring back this joyful community event and invite you to get involved! We're planning an even bigger and better Wonder Walk on Sun 8 Jun 2025 where hundreds of people will meet and join in walking our accessible 5K, or 10K routes around the surrounding areas of Chickenshed, including Trent Park, Oakwood Park and Grovelands Park. By joining us for this fun yet challenging day, you'll be supporting our vital work with young people and local communities and helping us reach our goal of raising at least £40,000 through individual and team fundraising. We're so excited to welcome back the Tales Trail along both routes where little ones can enjoy a wonderful walk outdoors whilst keeping an eye out for all things Tales! Sign up Everyone who signs up for the Wonder Walk will receive a specially designed Wonder Walk t-shirt and a goody bag* that you will be able to collect beforehand (a few days prior to the walk), or on the day. We're asking everyone who signs up to try and raise a minimum of £100.
