Tuesday 28 May, 1pm-1.45pm FROM ZION CHAPEL TO CHRIST CHURCH by STEPHEN GILBURT, ARCHIVIST FOR CHRIST CHURCH UNITED REFORMED CHURCH, CHASE SIDE This illustrated talk will tell the story of the independent chapels in Chase Side, Enfield, and the successor Christ Church Congregation Church from 1780 to 1946. It will draw upon the colourful characters involved in the churches and their impact on music, health and education in Enfield.
