Illuminated Miniature Creatures Workshop

Enjoy drawing, painting and gilding your own illuminated miniature, with designs inspired by the creatures found around Forty Hall in stained glass, sculpture or in the grounds. The workshop includes learning painting techniques that capture bright colours, similar to those found in illuminated manuscripts, and how to include flat gilding with metal leaf. These small -scale artworks are pleasurable to create. Suitable for aged 14 plus, beginners as well as those with more experience. Paints, paper and gilding materials will be provided. Please bring the following materials with you to the workshop: HB Pencils Eraser Ruler A pot or jam jar for water A saucer or small palette And if you have them: Fine paintbrush with a good point (No 2 or 00 would be good) A small selection of gouache paint A waterproof fineliner/technical pen Tickets: £45.00
