Job Title:Head of Marketing and Communications Reporting to:Director of Income Generation Direct Reports:Marketing and Communications OfficerFreelancers Location:Currently Beauchamp Court, Barnet. May19 onwards, location will be Byng Road, Barnet. Hours:Full Time (37.5hours / week) Job Purpose: To lead the marketing and communications to support the fundraising team raise the money to both complete The Ark and have sufficient new supporters to sustain it. Deliver an over-arching corporate Communications strategy across the following functions: media relations, marketing and publications, digital and social media. Ensure current media partnershipsare maximized. Deliver a suite of services to meet corporate Communications objectives across all service areas: Income Generation, Care, Finance and People. Elevate the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice(NACH) brand to secure new donations, valuable volunteers, staff members and more referrals. Deliver an internal communications strategy ensuring staff, volunteers and trustees are well and coherently informed. Work with the Director of Income Generation, Chief Executive and the rest of the senior leadershipteam to shape the wider development of the charity and its future plans. Apply evaluation to demonstrate value for money on all communications activity. 2Specific Responsibilities Deliver a fully integrated marketing and communications campaignto raisethe charity’s profileand to help fundraising colleagues deliver donations from new supporters. Direct the delivery of a Marketing and Communications planacross the charity’s key service areas:income generation, volunteer and staff recruitment Produce daily, weekly, monthly and annual outputdesigned to deliver the charity’s over-arching corporate communications strategy. Liaise with media partnersand lead and deliver a local and London-wide agenda. Work with the Director of Income Generation on NACH’s engagement with high profile celebrities and speakers. Deliver an integrated schedule of content across print, digital and social media;and print marketing and publications to strict deadline and budgets. Liaise with families alongside the Care team, to produce a series of case studies to support the charity’s marketing and communications work. Protect the NACH reputation and brand through strategic counsel, management and delivery of brand guidelines and management of merchandise procurement. Direct the development and delivery of magazines, leaflets and posters to support external outreach on time and on budget –working with artists, designers, photographers, printers and charity clients. Work to deliver daily updates to the charity’s websiteand providecontent support for other editors. Direct the delivery of LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook content. Manage photo storage and administration across a complex range of required permissions an in accordance with GDPR. Work with trustees, key stakeholders and partners to lead and deliver NACH campaigning.
