IT Engineer

The Job We’re looking for a strong Level 2 / junior Level 3 IT engineer to join our North London based Technology Support / Managed Services Company, who can take the lead on projects and to help with occasional support escalations. Salary competitive with generous benefits, depending upon experience. The Company Aquilatec are a technology support company, based in Crouch End, N8. We look after the IT and tech needs of our clients, which range from small 5-10 user charities all the way up to logistics companies with 150+ staff. We pride ourselves on delivering good value, reliable solutions and providing excellent levels of support. We’re very proud of the clients we take care of, and we help them to do some amazing things. We’ve been in business for over 12 years and in that time we’ve expanded into large office space for our team in North London, as well as having a poolside office in Cape Town. Our team are all happy people, and we’re really proud of our retention. This is because we have great culture and a flexible approach to life with generous packages which include 25 days of leave in addition to public holidays. And the good news for you is that we’re now hiring; not because we’re replacing anyone, but because we’re growing. We’ve also launched a new home automation division – Automate by Aquilatec – which delivers some astonishingly smart solutions for residential and office spaces. There’s plenty of opportunity to play with some really fun technology, although this isn’t the focus of the role we’re currently recruiting for. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a bright and innovative IT engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills to join our team in London. We need someone with the ability to work as part of a team, or to lead jobs and tasks on their own. In industry terms, we need a strong Level 2 or junior Level 3 engineer who wishes to spend more time on projects / implementation and out on-site, rather than sitting on a helpdesk all day. That said, there will be plenty of time in the office, and as we’re a friendly team, there will be need to help out your colleagues on our helpdesk from time to time. Ideally, we’d like someone with good certifications in Windows Server 2012 and above – but we know that certifications aren’t everyone’s strong point and that it’s experience and enthusiasm for the job which really counts! If you’d like to find out more, please check out, then give us a call on 020 8342 5010 and we’ll let you know where to send your CV. Finally, please, no agencies.
