We are a family run Accountancy firm established in Winchmore Hill, North London. We have an opportunity for an AAT qualified or part qualified individual to join our team. Ideally a student looking to study for the ICAEW exams. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience working within practice and be looking to further their career. Requirements • Bookkeeping for VAT clients and year end accounts • Preparing, reviewing, and submitting VAT returns • Preparing management accounts • Preparing year end accounts • Liaising with clients via email, telephone and face-to-face to resolve problems regarding any work-related queries they have • Experience using Sage, Receipt Bank, TaxCalc, QuickBooks, IRIS, Xero • Balance sheet reconciliations • Bank reconciliations • Posting month end journals – depreciation, accruals, prepayments, and payroll • Microsoft 365 knowledge (excel, word, outlook etc) The ideal candidate will have proven bookkeeping and accountancy experience and a willingness to interact with a growing client base. Previous working experience of Sage, Xero or Quickbooks will be advantageous. Payroll experience would be an advantage but not essential. Salary, study package, holiday can be discussed.
